HCS Central Office Project

Hopkins County Board of Education acquired property at 2135 N. Main Street, Madisonville, for a new Central Office. The district had been operating out of the former Madisonville High School, built in 1922 at 320 S. Seminary Street. The new facility will result in savings in repair and maintenance costs, provide energy savings, and allow for the latest technology upgrades. Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects was hired for the project. In February 2025, the Board of Education selected Garmong Construction to provide general contracting services for the project. Garmong submitted the low base bid. Central Office staff moved to the new location in spring 2026.
