We realize that parents and staff are concerned about asbestos safety. While most of our buildings are asbestos-free, there is still asbestos floor tile in some of the older buildings. We maintain these materials in a safe condition by ongoing surveillance, re-inspections, and an Operation and Maintenance program. 

In accordance with Kentucky and Federal Law, we maintain an Asbestos Management Plan for each building in the system. This plan is available in the principal's office at your school, and a copy of each school's plan is also kept in the Facilities Department at the Central Office. You are welcome to insepct and copy these plans during regular business hours.
