Welcome to Hopkins County Schools for the 2024-2025 school year!

Upcoming Events

  • Kickoff events will be held at each Hopkins County Elementary School on Monday, August 5, from 1-5 p.m. You may come and go any time during those hours. Children must be accompanied by a guardian. This event offers a chance to tour the school, meet kindergarten teachers and staff, complete the kinder screening and have fun!

  • The HCS Back-to-School Community Resource Bash will be held on August 1 from 3-6 p.m. at Victory Church. This event offers the chance to meet and greet staff, obtain community resources, and receive free school supplies. There will also be vendor giveaways and sales by food trucks.

Open House, Schedule Pick-Up Times Set

A variety of open houses, orientations, and schedule pickup sessions are scheduled at our schools.

 All elementary schools will participate in the Kindergarten Kick Off on August 5. This come-and-go event will run from 1-5 p.m. at each elementary school. Children must be accompanied by a guardian. This offers a chance to tour the school, meet teachers and staff, complete the kindergarten screening, and have fun!

  •  August 5 - Kinder Kick Off, 1-5 p.m.
  • August 8 - Open House, 5-7 p.m.

Hopkins County Central High

  • July 22 - 11th and 12th grade registration, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
  • July 23 - 9th and 10th grade registration, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
  • July 29 through July 31 - New Student Registration by appointment
  • August 9 - Freshman Fun Day, 9 a.m.-11 a.m.

James Madison Middle

  • August 5 - 6th grade orientation, 5-7:30 p.m.
  • August 6 - 7th/8th grade schedule pick up, 3-6 p.m.

 Jesse Stuart Elementary

  • August 5 - Kinder Kick Off, 1-5 p.m.
  • August 6 - Back to School Orientation
    • K-2nd grade, 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.
    • 3rd-5th grades, 6-7 p.m.

 Madisonville North Hopkins High

  • July 23 - 11th and 12th Grade Registration/Schedule Pickup, 1-5 p.m.
  • July 29 - 10th Grade Registration/Schedule Pickup, 3-6 p.m.
  • July 30 - 9th Grade Registration/Schedule Pickup, 3-6 p.m.
